Nic Roome’s madeleines have become my latest edible obsession. As far as I can gather, he runs a small operation out of his house and is a recent convert to the world of artisan food production, having left a career at Burberry to pursue baking. I was first introduced to Roome’s madeleines by my friend Kitty Travers, my official London food guru, at Monmouth Coffee’s Bermondsey location. The Kernel Brewery in London Releases Coffee IPA

The Kernel Brewery, a brewery based in Bermondsey, London released a limited edition Coffee IPA on February 5. This unique beer, a collaborative effort between the brewery and Square Mile Coffee, is available at the Brewery and at Mason & Taylor in Shoreditch. (more on Scatti di Gusto…)
