Tonight I witnessed the most exciting thing ever to happen in English language wine education in Rome: the inauguration of the brand new Vino Roma tasting space on Via in Selci in Monti. On Saturday October 15, join Hande Leimer of Vino Roma and me at the enoteca Il Bacocco in Trastevere for a taste of Lazio’s great wine and food. We will serve one white and one red wine paired with food provided by DOL, Rome’s premier purveyor of traditional products from Lazio. Proceeds from the event will be donated to a local food charity.
