Lahore Kebab House’s Seekh Kebab

Some foods are meant to be both delicious and aesthetically pleasing. Take this cassata siciliana and these tortellini, for example. Other foods are made with absolutely, positively no aesthetic considerations in mind. This seekh kebab at Lahore Kebab House looks a lot like a grilled turd. Not that I’ve ever grilled one. But, you know what I mean. Thankfully some of the most vile looking dishes can also be among the most delicious. The seekh kebab, priced at just £1, was a firm, succulent cylinder of minced lamb mixed with spices and herbs. Fortunately, it wasn’t around long enough for its appearance to cause disgust.
