Yesterday my friend Jessica and I went to Necci in Pigneto for Easter lunch. In classic Roman style, we did the whole shebang from antipasto to amaro. I’m still full. For our first course, we both got tonnarelli con agnello e vignarola, lamb and spring vegetables over pasta. It all tasted and looked a lot like beef lo mein. The dish wasn’t the most amazing thing I have ever eaten, but it was a bold and interesting approach to combining two traditional components of the Easter meal.
