Beer loving testaccini rejoice! Il Birrivendolo, which opened at Via Aldo Manuzio 12 three weeks ago, is stocked with Italian and international craft beers. There is a heavy focus on Lazio’s Birra del Borgo and you will also find Baladin, Almond 22, Extramones and more. I walked by last night on my way to the tram from Alice Pasquini’s opening at 999gallery and snagged the last bottle (not just in the shop, but seemingly in all of Rome) of Birra del Borgo’s Perle ai Porci oyster stout to take home and a cold Extraomnes Tripel for the road. Il Birrivendolo is open Mon-Sat 10am-1pm and 430-9:30pm.
