It’s no secret that I am hopelessly obsessed with Mesob, Kuki Tadese’s Ethiopian restaurant on the Via Prenestina near Pigneto. The obsession is so deep, so complete, that even though I am happy here at home in the States for the holidays, it is painful to know I can’t pop into to Mesob for the New Year’s Feast. On December 31, there will be a buffet dinner of all of Kuki’s meat-based and vegetarian specialties accompanied by music. The evening starts at 20:45 and for the cost of €35, diners will be offered the buffet, wine, water, dessert, sparkling wine, and entertainment. Reservations are essential. Call +393382511621.
