Tomorrow the Mad Sq Eats festival opens in NYC and you will find Rome’s Trapizzino at the Broken English stall. There, the street food made famous by Testaccio’s 00100, will be served 11am-9pm daily through October 19. Read the full text on the NYT Diner’s Journal here.

  • As is too often the case, I’m just catching up on things and find that I’ve missed the event (only by 6 weeks or so… not bad). At any rate, it looks like I need to keep up with your blog to not only find out what’s up in Rome but to keep track of restaurants in my own Brooklyn neighborhood. Since Broken English is only 10 or so blocks from home for me, I guess I’ll find out what’s up there with the “rebranding” and see if I can lobby for the addition of pajata to the menu (if the NYC Health codes permit of course).
