
I have no idea if that second bit is right but I am 10% certain that Bahar’da tatlıler means sweets from Bahar, the pastry shop on Istanbul’s Teşvikiye Cad. If I hadn’t lost my notebook containing my weeks worth of vocab and grammar notes, I would be much better off. Even without it, I have become very proficient at ordering pastries to-go, making the most of the staggering variety on display by asking for one of each. Bir tane, lütfen!
